I asked this on a different forum as well but wondering how you guys mount cameras...if at all. I have a gopro and an olympus stylus tough 8010....both are waterproof which helps on the tube. Looking to mount my go pro somewhere so i can use it to take pics of me and the feeesh. Kinda aiming at me and i just push the button and im good.

So if you guys have any ideas im all ears. Thanks.

There are so many thing you can do. You can buy what you want or build your own custom mount so let us know how you want to go about this and we can figure from there I build all my stuff so I can help out

Well so far i bought one of those flexible tripod things that wrap around stuff. Im thinking about mounting it somehowto the bar that goes across the stripping mesh....but im not sure yet. Dont wanna cut into the tube or anything but it looks like thats the only way it can be done. I have some other ideas but i gotta sit down and think about em....its too early now and i need some coffee to think. Ill definitely pm you today. Thanks for the help guys...once i get it setup ill post some pics. Hoping to work on the rod holder today too. Also looking at a way to mount it so i get cool underwater footage......that would be sweet.

I haven't setup a mount on my tube, but I use an "X Shot" extender that screws into the bottom of my 50D when I want to get a nice wide view or odd angles. I was thinking about mount it on my tube, but it's not water proof and I don't want to risk ruining the camera.

You mount cameras for a living?

Anyone do any type of home upgrades or construction work?

Just home improvement type of stuff mainly cosmetic. Since the market hasn't been this good in 80 years i'm gonna lease my current home and buy a smaller one to live in so will need to upgrade a few things.

There is a guy that goes by the handle of Atwater that has the sweetest video setup I have seen. He posts float tube videos on Youtube. I think he uses a GoPro camera. It looks like it is mounted behind him on the right hand side.

I think he uses a greenfish camera mount so you can adjust it quickly and easily.
