Nope!! It’s not a joke folks!!
That’s its real name.
So … there are these guys that fish frequently the lake, that’s right behind my house, that swear by this lure as their 🎣 go-to!!

I have used it maybe three times and never got as much as a bump and found it to be disappointing.
So yesterday … I thought that I would give it another try.

I figured it must’ve been my technique or lack of technique.
So this time, I decided to do a couple of cranks … and then stop … let it suspend … and then start a few more cranks and let suspend again. Well, that was the trick!!!!

I let it suspend and right when I started to crank it again … I got grabbed!!
Now … I realize that it’s not a great fish … but it does prove that you have to give the fish what they want … the way they want it … in order for them to come-out and play. 🙂

I can post 🎣 more often, I do fish everyday!
The only species that I catch are Green Bass, Catfish and Tilapia! There are Perch and Cichlids in here as well.
I’ve been told by other fishermen … that there are 14 lb Bass and 18 lb Cats here in my lake … but I have yet to land one!

If it’s not too redundant for y’all … I’ll go ahead and post-up a few local fish pictures from my backyard 🎣 catches.
But I’m afraid that there’ll be “no whoppers or PB’s” from here!!

Bring the green bass reports Dan.

Ive done best at night with black WP
During the day the smaller one right at dawn/dusk and close to shore or any structure, especially with cloud cover.
If not biting the WP, break out small poppers or go big with buzzbait.

I’ve experienced and learned about color.
Salt water trolling. Have only two of the same. One dark purple. Other bright Orange. Dark for overcast or dark days. Bright Orange for sunny bright days.
Now I learn on streamers. Don’t matter much which streamer. Color matters much more. Bright sunny day…start with white, work darker. Overcast or night…start black and work lighter. Makes a big difference. Gets them to bite.
I’m seeing this color thing everywhere with fish. From saltwater tropics…to deep sea trolling..all the way to cold trout in high elevations. Everywhere…

That's very cool. I guess I'll have to give the old popper a try again. Like you I haven't had much success with it to date, but I know it works for some guys really well.
