Non-tuber Looking To Get Into Tubing

What's up tubers.

I'm currently land-lock and chase trout and bass from the local lake shorelines in socal, and visit the E.Sierras once a year.

I had a chance to try out tubing thanks to Jeff, and now I own him a pair of fins . lol

I hope to get to own my own tube and gear sometime this year.

Tubin is very addicting!!!! Look around online....you can find caddis floatube for real cheep!!!

I have to agree I have been addicted to tubing the only thing that
holds me back is the cost to launch. But this is why I am willing
to try the salt, if it works I will be saving the launch fee.

Jeff....once you tube the salt you are really going to be hooked!!!! You can launch pretty much anywhere you hav access to the water....even off docks!! I have launched off docks before and it is not my first choice...plan to get a little wet.

The only draw back to tubin the salt is that your gear needs more attention to detail while cleaning. If you clean your gear after every outing you will be fine.

I have not tubes the saltwater either, but I do wnat to try one day. May have to give it a chance one of these days.

So flyfishingfool did you ever get a float tube, it is the best way to fish those waters buddy.
