guidelines for those that want to run a Gathering

OK, so this discussion on Gatherings and Tournaments has got me thinking. We need to make sure we are all on the same page and arrange things up correctly.

First all plans must be submitted to me (jeffcpr) before they are set in motion.

We must keep everything;
1. Safe
2. Simple
3. And free (no entry fee's) however side bets or pots are fine.

I also at this time need to keep these get togeathers as gatherings only (not Tournaments).

In the past Tournaments have been shut down due to not having the proper permits and not paying proper city or county fee's to hold them.

Please do not take this as me not encouraging members to arrange their own Gathering/Tournaments, I just want to make sure we are keeping our gatherings appropriate for the forum and our members.

Thank you, things will evolve as the forum evolves and I look forward to hearing from all of you in regards to your personal ideas for your own gatherings.

yes, all gatherings must be free, but non-cash donations(ex: terminal tackle, baits, gear, etc...) could be used as placement prizes.

Sounds good, that's the best price FREE!!!!
