gathering/series Date

Great News everyone, I have 2 sponsors so far for the gathering/series.

I would like to say thank you to OTS Baits for sponsoring our first round and thank you to Hook-Rbaits for sponsering round #2.

Hook-Rbaits is new and up coming company making jig heads, jigs..etc. More info on there company will be coming soon so stand by but I do have to say if you like fishing warbaits, you will love there baits.

You could have other little bonus points also, like for most total numbers caught, (regardless of size), etc.

I say you just run with it, and post up the rules and be done with it. Nothing that's been posted up has been crazy or unreasonable. Just set the rules and we'll all go along with it. THanks again.. -J

dumb question..

so the first 3 tourneys are mornings, right? like 6 or 7am?
the last 2 are SUNDAY nights? (since many people work on Mondays, do you think Sat nights might be better?)

like I said, dumb questions.. just want to know the details before I make the pitch to the wifey.

4 rounds are in the morning and only 1 ninja.
yeah start time will be 6-6:30 till 1 or 2pm.

by the end of this week I will have new post for round #1.
Location and Time to meet in the morning and end and location to meet at the end.
Newport will be the only location where we will meet away from the water and meet back thats only because NPH is big harbor with 1000 of places to launch from.

exp - meet at Starbucks at 6am at Lido dr and meet back at Jack N Box by 2:30

Up-date -
1st - The Series is going to be the top 3 rounds. This is going to be ran on avg. so everyone will have a chance to win and will not have to worry about making all 5 rounds

2nd - for anyone who fishing all 5 rounds will get an extra 5 points at the end of the series.

Keep all question about the series on this post and not the post of the actual Round unless it has to do about that round it self.

Yes they know what they are doing. I have been fishing there jigs for the past for few months now and I have no complaints.

I've been using hookrbaits for the past 2 months and they work great plus there local O.C. Co. great looking heads and very sharp hooks! Miller likes to catch them.... Lol

Round #4 (Sept. 23) is on a sunday night? That's tough I'll miss that one too, gotta go to work at 5:30am monday morning. Ninja session might work better on a friday night or saturday night. Just a thought.

Oops, I didn't realize I entered up the date wrong. Sorry about that guys. It's going to be on the 22nd, Saturday. I would never do a sunday-thur gathering because everyone has to work.

Is the $10 pay in for every event or a one time fee for the tourney?

I paid mine before the first event...

I will definitely try and make it for the rest!

I think Miller said it was 1 time $10 dollar entrance fee and then $5.00 at each event

yeah, one time only for the series, $5 for each tourney thereafter.

The date changes should be reflected on the original post of this thread. It's hard to flip through 9 pages of reading to find out when the gatherin/series dates are. Just a suggestion...maybe even in bold and in red too.
