What size of plastic tackle boxes do most use on their float tubes? I have the togiak tube. Any system ideas?

I forget who makes them (i think flambeau or whatever its called).....but anyways they make an extra long plastic box which fit perfectly in my fish cat 4. Not familiar with your tube but I would suggest those boxes if they fit....if not.the double sided plano boxes sold at wal mart are very popular and get the job done.

i use plano 360 box or same size of different company. they fit perfect

You know I think I am just going to use plastic sandwich bags for my plastics. I have all these boxes and most of my plastics find there way to the sandwich bags. Just my 2 cents, and that is all it is really worth to.

I use those small Plano boxes from Walmart, works great!


Oh and for anything bigger or in quantity I just throw in my bucket Wink

I have a Togiak tube I use a6.5in x 5.5 in Falcon box for my hooks & weights and a double sided Plano box 9x5 inches for mt worms and lures etc. I will also use smaller plastic boxes.

If you can find them Flambeau makes some portable boxes along the lines of the ones Plano makes but are shallower at 1 inch deep so have less wasted space and the latches beat plano all to hades . I take everything with me except the kitchen sink but never took a bucket "o" beer as my bladder would surely make me regret wearing chest waders Wink
