6-26-12 afternoon perris session report....

I went out to perris with my buddy Josh yesterday afternoon. We got there bout 4 an launched from bernisconie rd. Man was the wind blowin an white caps like crazy. Good news is that the booies are back on bernisconie side an they say no boats this time After bout 10 min I managed to hook a nice 1.5 lb bass an to my amazement this lil bass had both my drop shot hook an my senko hook in its mouth. Doubble rod hook up on one fish way crazy!!!!! Was a hungry lil guy. Shortly after I hooked up with a nother nice 1.5 ish lb bass on the wacky rig drop shot bold gill. We made our way to the big rocks were some nice fish hang out an threw out the 5" thin senko an BAM!!!!! landed this 1 lb gill perfect lip hook...

Shortly after driftin a bit I hooked into a nice lil 2 lb bass fer the persuader contest I turned around to notice a bass floatin on its side an I rushed over to see whats up. A nice 6 lb bass had a bluegill stuck in its throat an suffercated She bit off more than she could chew. After that we started kickin back in an I managed to land a lil gill on the drop shot rod. This lil guy hit a 4" bold bluegill roboworm. we got off the water by 9 pm I ended the night with 6 bass an 2 gills was a crazy time battlein the waves but way fun. Got some nice vid an some pretty cool pics all in all was a good trip.

Nice fish, and by the way, those are Redear Sunfish, not Bluegill. But they are nice ones!

Nice job, the east end has dried up so I need to move over to Bernasconi and was thinking about going out Sunday for a couple of hours before it gets too choppy.
The 1# looks like a very nice female red ear. The males have red behind the blue and females have orange. They fight nice on UL gear and now I really want to get over there.
