6/30/12 early am zombie bassing at the Legg

So last nite i was not able fall asleep so i decided to hit up the legg for sum early am bassing,i arrived at 5am and started tossing my buddy tonys home poured senkos in ”brown sugar”.started at the north lake and worked my way around without one single bite....not looking too promising so far...decided to hit up the cement jetty On the middle lake,soon after to catch one small dink (8inches or so),its looking a bit better now...worked another 30min but nothing,ffwd::::switched up my bait to a top water back to the north lake n nada....so i decided to give the senko one last shot back in the middle lake,note its 9:00 am and hot as friken hell n im exhausted,did a cast right up to tullies...while i Just recieve a text from my buddy Tony ”hows the bite?” I switch my Rod to my left hand with phone in my right,i notice my line start to move,bam one handed hook set!!i quikly put my phone down n power the Fish in,,a nice fatty in the area of 5 lbs.(guesstimate)... i was sooooo excited to take some pix n nobodys around i see a old man digging for cans in a trash and ask if he could take some pix,(bad idea) 4 aweful pix but luckily i got a nice shot of her next to my Rod! im sure glad i didnt leave like i wanted...called it a day at 10:30am.hopefully i can get the pix up by tonite after sum

Nice job hooking up at legg lake. I've seen some of the plastics that tony pours and they do look killer.

Lately I've been visiting legg lake during the evening hours. I've been getting no love with the plastics, so lately i been taking the fly gear out and been having great success hooking those picky bass. Man whatta ride.

I'm gonna have to check out the morning scene soon.

It should work no problem. I do it through my phone sometimes too. You just have to figure out how to copy and paste on your phone and that's it.
