Legg Lake 10/8

My first post in a long time and it isn't about float tubing.  

Hit up Legg Lake this morning with the wife.  We got on the water around 8 am.  Not sure about the water temp but the air temps was in the high 60's when we got there.  It heated up fast and by 11am it was probably in the high 80s but i didn't check my phone to be exact.

We got 4 between us in the morning, two each.  All dinks on T-Rig Green Pumpkin Senko.  All were caught near the reeds on the south side of the lake to the west of the platform.

We went last weekend to with the same exact result.  The morning bite is pretty good but by late morning early afternoon the temp heats up and things die down.  I do see them jumping for dragonflies but I couldn't get them to bite anything i had.  Next time I go I will try to get there when it opens at 5:30am and fish til 11am or so, I think that should be a pretty good day.

I really wish I could float tube that lake.  So many good spots that aren't accessible from the shore.

Nice catches I fish Legg every once in awhile and the bass have been on a dragon fly pattern. this is what I have used when the bass are on Dragon Flies it's a modified 3" Stick Bait.

I Caught that about a month ago. I do use different colors of buck hair on the tell end. a lot of red dragon flies this year.
