Nijna Dock Hopping

Gilbert & I went dock hopping Lastnight from midnight to 3am.
Out going tide to very low condition. This area we fished is best on an in coming high tide. Fish where biting but where not committing 100% resulting in a lot of short bites, tails ripped off.
Only baits used last night where Hook-R baits jigs, OTS baits and they where heavily covered in Hot Sauce

We ended the night with hand full of spotties

Just curious. What kind of lighting do you prefer on a tube. I'm
thinking the strap around my head type light will be best?? And
then some type floating handheld flashlight also. If you use the
head-lamp type, what is a good one ie. LED or bulb or???

It was a good time last night, got to bed around 3:30am and my kids reminded me at 6:30am it's the 4th and I need to finish there bikes with decorations for the parade. Good times....

I use a headlamp that has a red,blue and white light that I bought from walmart for $24. They range from $10-$30 there and on my tube Ed gave me a red bike light that takes 1 AA battery which I attach the back of my tube.

I can't stay up past 9pm most nights! Kids have made me soft.
Those headlamps are all LED nowadays. Super bright. In general, probably best pics at night will just be with the on-camera flash. And video.. usually sucks at night, even with a spotlight. Just not enough background light. Everything usually comes out grainy. The newest GoPro (Hero2), apparently has better low-light video quality, but I don't know.

not too hardcore. On my way home I was thinking of loading up the tube and heading back out but being up for 24hrs about that time I was getting alittle
