Was a hot steaming day yesterday and so we patiently waited till the evening to head out for some mind relaxation on the float tube. Me and the buddy packed our tube and crunched it up into my small 4dr sedan and headed out for whatever the lake had to offer us.
We got to the lake around 6-630ish, got the tube pumped and gears ready

So we drifted off about 40 yrds from the launch area and I started seeing some good signs of structures 25ft. below us, threw down our baits and was catching multiple lmb 1-2#ders nothing big enough so no pictures. The bite stop after 15mins and we headed off to some rocky point on the east side of the lake, I was in lead and my buddy after me, got to our area and I turned on the sonar to scan for some structures, the sonar didnt pickup much structure at this area but did see a few fish about 25-30ft below, we sat there and try to see if we can come up with any fish, I was jiggin and had a few small bites but no hook up, then my buddy gets a snag, trying to work the snag it slowly came off, then all of a sudden the line stop like it caught another snag, but this time the snag was pulling it, he figured now that its a possible fish on, with only a 8# line to his rig, he was slowly breathing concentrating very hard, working the fish, it just kept on fighting downwards and never jumped, our thought at this point was a "big cat" about another minute or two the fish finally looses its strength and came up to the surface, I saw the head of the fish and realize now that its a huge lmb, I was shouting and yelling " yeah baby" yeah baby" lol and my buddy just dead quiet like he seen a ghost lol....
We paddle to the shore and I put this baby on my Berkley digital and she went 10lb 2oz
