Was invited to attend the "slay fest" at anaheim lake, I missed the first hit, rebaited then it was on, got taken for a ride on my tube and ended up with a 9lb 12oz trout, no other hits the rest of the day. Thank you "Marly" and Craig from SARL/Corona Lakes for making this possible.

Oh I know what a trolling motor feels like, but this one was funner since I wasn't in control of where it was going

Wow, what a slab!!! That's gonna make some nice steaks. Thanks for the report. Gonna have to check that place out one of these days.

BTW, is the water level down at Anaheim Lake, or is that normal level?

Anaheim is now closed it has been since december 2nd, this was a 50 person one day only deal. They drained 3/4 of the lake, I dont know when the last time was it was open. If memory serves me correctly they only opened it while they drained SARL and cleaned it up.
