John was comming to pick up some rods I had repaired for him so since he was making the trip down all the way from Fallbrook, he said, lets do a jungle run! Very Happy I said ok! Red Smile I got up at 4:45am and sent John a text, "you driving?" John text back, "No" I said f*** it I'm going back to sleep then I get another text "I't f****** cold out here, hurry up!" I look out my window and see John's truck! Dam, this dude is hardcore to the bone! (wait till you hear about the shark session on sunday).

Anyways, loaded out gear and off we went. In the water by 5:40 and started slaying fish from the get go. Caught some really nice rockfish today. All went back to the drink to get even bigger. Fished until 10:00am. We both had things to do afterwards. Enjoy the pics.

John brought this two foot rod with 4lb test, so I gave it a shot!

dude! this is insane!!! I've seen those fish only caught on rockfishing trips, its a Blue rockfish!!! WTF!!!!
