Hi everyone, sooooo i'm new to the whole float tube thing...any ideas for my first tube??? Every time i think i'm almost happy with my fishing gear... i find something new and expensive to buy hahaha

Welcome thanks for making it out to SFD it was nice meeting you. So you are getting into a tube cool, go with a caddis or the white river ed has. they seem pretty good and I would say a good first time tube. Good luck let us know what happens.

Welcome PF!! And don't listen to these guys. I was there when the whole spandex thing started and I still can't keep it straight. One post we were fine then by the next we were soooooo deep in Dano's spandex .... well I'll spare u the details. LOL.

it doesn't matter if you are in a boat or on the green (golfing)
there is always NEWER & BETTER & more expensive stuff.
you go with what you can afford & learn to use it well.

Welcome Pirahna Fever, are we related? Very Happy I agree with whats allready been said about whatever floats but if you've been tubing and like it dont sell yourself short and buy too cheap because you will want to upgrade soon. I really wish I had bought the ODC420 after only 3 trips in my Togiac Sad

I would have to agree with Fever, getting into float tubing is one thing just get something that floats. But if you think you will enjoy it like some do, spend the money to get something nice ODC420, Fish Cat, etc........
