Hi everyone!

Just joined up a day or so ago and been looking around some of the forums. This is a GREAT SITE!! I used to use a round float tube many years ago and it was a blast, and I loved getting to fish those hard to find spots but now the technology is incredible and you guys have some awesome mods to the ol'tube.

Im looking to buy a new rig this spring to pack in on camping trips or on the 4 wheeler. The open front wedge style is interesting (would be great to sit above the water for a change). I'm a big guy at 280 lbs (I know...need to loose some)so looking for at least 300lb capacity. Comfort and stability are top priorities as I like to spend the day on the water. Mainly bass and panfish with some catfishing. No saltwater in Indiana!! How do you big water guys do it? One really big fish and now you become the bobber!

Oh well enough rambling on. Any advise as to make and model is very appreciated. Good fishing to all salute

Thanks everyone! I finally got the rod rack made and have been out 6 times in the tube. I can see why you guys say this is addictive....it is. My daughter has a small kayaka and we have a blast going to the small lakes around our area. I've fished for over 40 years and the float tube is the most intimate fishing there is.

Any other tubers in the Southern Indiana area on this forum?

Thanks, and good fishing to all!
