Road trip to northern Cali

What's up guys
Here's a little report on my road trip to northern Cali for work and some fishing on our way up and way back.
We had 2 routes to take to get our place to work, take 5fwy or 395 so my work partner and I said its a no question asked we're taking the 395 lol

Entering Gods county
We hit a few streams in our up but didn't spend much time as we had a dead line on our 640mile run up north Monday.
This was a 3 day turn around trip, we blew out job on Tuesday as fast as we could so we could get in more fishing time.

We woke up to this Wednesday morning to start our fishing. I forget the name of this lake but I want to say its in Bridgeport.
No fish at this lake but we only gave it an hour.
We hit up several streams and couple more lake before we got rained out/hailed on up in rock creek around 2:30pm. Here are few pix of my trip, wish I took more.

We did just under 1400 miles in a 3 day turn around trip and we killed the trout for only fishing for a few hours.
It'll be back at the end of Oct to hunt for big browns.

Dude looks like a great time was had on your trip I made a trip north and saw some amazing places to fish. We will be going back soon as well next time I plan on taking some time to hit some water on the trip. Thanks for sharing with us

flyfishingfool - it does kinda look like silver but it was further up north. We never hit loop. I think it was lower twin lakes? We hit so many streams and lakes I cant even really remember what we all hit up. It was a run and gun type of things
