Launched from Balboa island at around 10:00 AM and fished until around 4:00 PM for 15 bass and what was probibly a bat ray (almost spooled me!).
Most of the bass were very small so I only took pics of the larger ones for the most part.
nice day to be on the water...

thumb guard is called a Bass Thumb, I also use a Velcro wire tie on occasion. was thinking of going back this Thursday but might hit Huntington instead (no brown trout)
