Newport Harbor open invite 11-20

Hey aquaholic yeah ill try I'm coming from aliso viejo...but way down....

As for tonite caught three...no pics....bs camera phone died as well as my buds....lost 2 lures...warheads  with skirts...booo....

Switched up to a hawgseeker from baits fool co...in the shrimp color and nailed me my first cuda from the tube....I'd say about a good 18 inches....nice fight too....kept working that same lure and about 10 min later got me a small croacker.......then switched up to the same bait but in orange and a lame mackarel got in the way....but boy do they put up a fight.....that was it 3....not a bad night...cuda made my night..

A barracuda? Really? I though they're only on open water! Dang! 4 more Inc. And would've been a keeper!

Right...nah they're in nph....my bud caught one the other day on a hard bait shallow diver...that one he did get pics of it.....today we were right by the barge when I nailed it...and didn't know u could eat those.....

Cudas are out there. I hooked one last week. Looked legal but when I got it up to the tube it wrapped itself around my fin and the spectra cut into it when it was taking drag! Lost it trying to get the spectra out of the groove it carved. It sucked but it was fun!

Hey Tony, next time you run into the cudas tie on a crocodile iron and toss that out where they are at and burn it back, Way fun if they are around!

Shallow diving crank baits work really well too gut it goes annoying trying to take both trebles out of the wiggling cuda. Easiest would be what wiseguy said

This is one of the species we caught last night, anyone know what it could be, id say white sea bass, but a very small one....?????anyone
