Between 8:30 and 1:00 I could not land anything else. I was getting short strikes but just could not set anything. I was kind of pissed and started kicking my way back to the truck bouncing garlic power balls when BAM!!! Big strike and a solid set. Then it started taking line. When it surfaced I could see that it had some decent size. Had to be careful with my 4lb test. Got her to the net and finally on my lap. I think they call these Ruby Reds. Weighed in at 7.5 lbs and 26 inches. My best of the year so far.
