Hi guys my name is Kim and I live on the eastern side of Australia. I fly fish from a canoe and a yak but am keen to get into a float of some kind. Doing heaps of research on here great site there is very little tubing here in Auz so will prob have to import one from you guys over there. I hope to be able to put up some Aussie fish pics soon.
Cheers KIM

Cool! Do you have to watch out for sharks in the salt? I hear there are a lot of them in Australia.

Thanks for the warm welcome guys I will put some pics when I take some not normally a photography nut when fishing. A few sharks down here but wouldn't be any worse than over there I would think. I am real keen on a Outlaw Escape if they will send them over seas I have left a message but yet to hear back.
Cheers KIM

Thanks again guys I have decided to get a pontoon I think, there are a couple of options down here for them one new and a second hand one. I love the yak and canoe but don't like getting pulled into the snags when a fish is on so want to be able to kick with my feet to stop this. NO KICKING where the sharks live Smile.
I will be sure to add some pics when I get my boat and do some fishing.
Cheers KIM

I float now......
A couple of pics showing the mods I have made so far. As it came the seat was screwed to the frame but I added a ply floor and a swivel seat mount that allows the seat to be lifted up out of the way to make way for a casting platform. Just had it out in a stiff breeze and got back with a dry seat of the pants.Smile

The little boat comes with bags that sit either side of the seat but I was just testing the seaworthiness on this trip..
Now to add fishing type bits and pieces.
Cheers KIM
