When you are by yourself that is a bad day. Thats less than a fish an hour and nobody to talk to. For me that's like being in Isolation therapy. I need people to joke with

Fishing was not as much fun by myself

I got hit so hard first thing in the morning it almost ripped the pole out of my hand. Don't know what it was but sure woke my sleeing but up

I use to fish by myself thought that that was the way to go. Then I found myself talking to myself so i started this site to find others that want to fish also. Thanks

I am going to try for the LAB on Saturday.

Be there? But where's there? LOL! Alamitos Bay is rather large and have numerous spots to launch and fish.

i only now one all the way done at the end of edinger just before you get to the bridge you make a left and can launch right there on the beach and it's free parking.

you turn left on countess dr just before the bridge

lol I didn't see when Tom caught that little guy that is pretty cool he took a plastic the same size as him, you know that the kinda fish that puts up a fight when it gets bigger.

I like how everyone was tripping out on eachothers gear and float tube set ups, next meet I'm slapping some chrome 20's on my kick boat fishing DUB style yo!

Anyone else notice while your unhooking a spottie they don't look scared like other fish they have this look of revenge in their eyes and they look right at you.

thank you guy for meeting up there i would of been lost lol i am thinking of a mirror for my tube that dock scared the crap out of my ask james he saw me jump i am surprised he didnt laugh

A rear view mirror isn't a bad idea to have on a float tube actually those idiots in the boats that paddle backwards and seem to hate tubers should have rear view mirrors by law.

I park at the Pacific Yacht/Sailing Club and/or anywhere along Ocean Blvd. Just walk between the houses and sandy beach to launch from. No big. But if someone has a better easier place to launch from please share. Geek, I'm there I already made up my mind. I have a fresh spool of Triple X I want to try. Beside, if there is wind, if you get across the bay from where I mentioned you are in the back canals and just about all the wind is blocked anyways. I will say, "see you at 6am" just let me know where to meet up with everyone. If mapping is a question I have and can post my location to launch tomorrow from work.

6am is great. i have jumped in at anaheim harbor. end of edinger just before you get to the bridge turn left and there is a little beach with free parking and launching with in 20 feet.
