Time 7:00 AM till 1:00 pm
Air temp: 75 to 85
Water temp: Very Warm like 75 or more
Visibility: About six feet
Depth fished: 11 to 35 feet deep.
Drop Shot .... Purple Robo style
Drop Shot .... 4” hologram shad
Texas rigged ...purple Manns Jelly Worm
Purple and Blue 1/2 oz jig
Truth is today I threw everything I could reach at em.
I headed out to Perris this morning and met up with Patrick at Bernasconi Beach. We had made a game plan on depth, 15 to 25 feet, and location last week and started out with big plans. Not a bite, not a nibble for 2 hours, so at 9 AM I started changing up colors. I started changing up rigs at 10 AM. At 11:30 or so talked to a nice man on a little Prowler trolling for BlueGill. He said he was catching both BG and Bass at 11 feet deep all morning. So I tossed a Berkley power tube in pumpkinseed on a little 1/4 oz jig head into 11 feet of water and BAM, just like that had a little bass. Fished for another hour plus and called it a day with just one fish.
