New member from south Orange County

Hello, all!

Just wanted to introduce myself here as I am new to the whole sport of float tube fishing and also to posting in this forum (see: lurker).

I have been interested in float tube fishing for quite a while now and, with all of the deals going on as of late, I finally decided to pull the trigger on a tube and the rest of the gear required to fish from a tube. Here's a rundown of what I have purchased thus far:

Fat Cat 4
Pump
Caddis breathable waders
NRS fishing PFD

I have dive fins, fishing rods and tackle already so all I now all I need to do is take the rig on her maiden voyage!

I am excited to try this new form of fishing out at the several pay to fish lakes in the area and also out in the harbors. I have been fishing most of my life and have fished from shore, beach, boat, raft, charter boat, pier etc. etc.... but float tube fishing seems like the most relaxing of all of the ways to fish. Inflate; sit; kick; fish; enjoy.

I can't wait to get out on the water (work permitting) and try my hand at this. See you out there!

Your right, float tube is the most relaxing, as long as the weather cooperates !
