I am saying the big boy swimbaits, you for the big fish hunters. I am wondering because I was just thinking of doing an article on fishing big swimbaits from a tube, is it possible and worth your time. There are a lot of people doing this but not sure how many are doing it from a tube and if so is it simple or are there problems that make it hard to be effective. Any input would be appreciated and if anyone has some thoughts on such and article let me know please.

The only hard part Jeff is being able to afford all the big swimbaits and rods and reels to go with it. Fishing is the easy part unless you like some guys who can't fish with rods that are longer than 7ft.

Also, just like anything else there is a time and place for everything.
For myself I have been fishing big baits for a full year and half straight now and have only gotten a few hits but there are a lot factors that come into place to explain poor results but when you do get hook up you know it's gonna be a big one.

Miller pretty much summed it up I am throwing 8".. 5 ounce baits from the tube . It's all adjustment to the correct gear . Rods ,reels , line and baits . The fishing part is easy

Edit : the hard part is forking over the $$$$

Like Wes Mentioned there are some adjustments/learning curve you got to do from a tube.
Throwing big baits isn't the same as you would from shore or a Boat where your standing up. From a tube your more or less lobbying the bait out letting the rod load up and using the force of the rod and the weight if the bait to make a distance cast
