That's a $500 life vest and you need to be conscious to pull the cord.
You got to be one serious wave chaser to feel the need to wear that.

Dam I see that $500 per vest that is steep, I agree that if it was self inflatable that would be better but I always wonder is that the right kind for us. How much water must it have to inflate on its own. I like my CO2 vest only because it feel more comfortable when wearing it and this one seems to be even more comfortable to me.

The self inflating ones are a great unit for someone that does a lot of around fishing. Boating, kayak, wading in streams/rivers etc as that's when your more prone for an accent to happen to where you could get knock out and it only requires about 1-2ft of water pressure to make inflate but the good ones are still around $300 from bass pro

FYI, Auto inflate PFD's are not for poor or non swimmers due to the time they take to deploy.
