A full time job at Bass Pro, your own business building lures, and another job? Do you get to go fishing too?

Great looking lures and thanks for sharing.

Thanks for the kind words. I do find time to fish, just not as often as I want yet. My lure's are made throughout the winter no rush or pressure, leaving me more time to fish in the summer. The tourney guys are buying most of my lure's, but I do have a private stock for the summer.

Hello once again, I hope everyone is doing well! I'm back and ready to start not only sharing my hobby of making custom fishing lure's, but to start doing more tube fishing. So I'll be in the market for updating my tube boat/gear. So any suggestions on good boats will be greatly apricated. As you can see, I still have been airbrushing custom lures and thought I would share a few (as I have made more than I can hold onto since having some time on my hands).  In the meantime I have some reading to catch up on.

As always great lures buddy. As for tubes what are you looking for. The Cumberland is a very good tube. But the Caperlan FLTB-5 has some really good options as well. Personally I am now a big fan of the Hybrid boats. Let us know what you are thinking.

Looking for a boat that sits high in the water for the wife so she can come out on the water with me. I'm thinking maybe an upgrade for me but she can use it for when she does come out with me, you know a gift for her but really for me kind of thing (nudge nudge, wink wink.) My wife doesn't fish she likes the time outdoors and being on the water.

The Cumberland is a great elevated seat. The hybrids are great as well. Currently I am using the Float Plus 1 what a great boat so far.

I was looking at the Cumberland on google images and saw that it was also available on Amazon. What about fins. I'm guessing that I would need to get a set to help push the bigger boat? Thanks for your help by the way.

As for fins there is nothing special you will need. I personally have always used Dive fins they work great. You will need nothing special to help move a bigger boat really it's is almost easier to move these boats being you are higher out of the water.
I recently started using a new fin called the FLTB-FI from Caperlan. Might not be easy to find but they are my new favorite fins.

Good to know. Right now I am using a cheap pair of swim fins that you would see in the snorkeling section at WalMart. I'll look into the set you mentioned and take it from there. Thanks!

If you are looking into fins, please don’t overlook Force Fin‘s.
Dive fins will fatigue you after a time where Force Fin‘s are designed for against leg fatigue.

Good luck! 👍

Heading into transparent territory now. Besides just making opaque lures I'll also try doing the same thing in a transparent also. Some of my ideas have come from just sitting down and painting, if I don't like it I can always clean it up and use it again until I'm happy with the paint job. Here is a small batch of jerkbaits. Some transparent some opaque.

Calling this kit The Seduction. This 16 piece lure kit has a variety of opaque and transparent perch, bass & fire tiger patterns. I also randomly mixed in some red eyes.
