Catch of the month January 2017

OK people, the first pic of the month for 2017 goes to frankd619 for this 5 pounder he caught at  Lake Murray in the rain.
While he did not catch this one for the tourney he sure turned up the heat for all the competitors.

I HAVE to say this, and I don't mean any ill will to anyone ....but DADGUMMIT!!! That's a skinny fish!

Now, there are 2 ways to look at this:

First:that fish was so hungry it took NO talent to land it.

Then.... There's the other side. It's a skinny fish because, even though STARVING!!! .....it was smart enough to avoid hooks.

Congrats buddy.

BTW: Just to clarify this post, that fish should ( or could ) have weighed 7.

Remember where you caught it.... ( like he's gonna forget!!!!)

But a similar sized bass will probably take up residence, and that one may have a gut full of eggs.

Btw Jerdon, YOU WIN!!! I spied the best catch in the world next to you.

( You can fish FOREVER!!!!! ....and you won't beat that!)
