Thanks! We launched from the channel side of the parking lot at Seabridge, and yes, it's a bit of a kick, especially towards noon when the tide was going out and we were coming in. The pay off is that there are flats and lots of good water out by the bridge. There were a number of boaters fishing the same area. I caught the halibut sitting in 3 ft of water and casting out to the channel. He grabbed the bait as it came up onto the flats.

I agree on that area. My buddy won a kayak tournament in that area. The next year I won the tournament in the same area. Love that spot. Just a long ways to kick. Launching from the channel side does make it shorter, just muddier.
