This may have been asked before..
What is the best way to store a float tube for a year or two? I've had one out in the garage for about a year now, a Caddis Sierra Gold, but it is partially deflated. It's just sitting flat on some boxes. The garage gets hot in the summer. I was going to put my Fish Cat out there too, maybe hanging from the ceiling in some netting. I use this one quite often.

It all depends on the weather at least this what i think. We in Cali can leave our out and partically inflated year round. Not fully inflated as you said the rise in heat will cause so bad issues. I have mine hanging from the starp in the back of the tube. My Cumberland works fine like this as the tubes are velcroed in place. My ODC 420 is not and the tubes slide out of place over time. I would recommend checking pressures from time to time as they do change. Also i learned the hard way only hang the tube take all extra items off the tube. The extra weight will stretch the handle out in the. Did not cause any major problems just tore the webbing a little.

I have a wood shelf in the garage for my tube/tubes. I live in the IE and it gets pretty hot in the summer so I think the wood helps. I leave it more than half full of air, maybe 3/4 full, so the bladders can shrink or expand with the weather.
I used to leave my old round style tube hanging from a J-hook, but I just feel better about the bigger tube having a spot to sit and relax.

If you enlarge photo u will see the eye bolts used. Their is enough stretch in the hooks to pull the tube up to the rafters. In these photos the tube is just hanging loose............hope this helps..........GT

I just store mine at the bottom half of my garage where the air is cooler nearest the garage floor.
I leave my FT's partially inflated on the softer side and leaning against my wall cabinets.
It's worked for me for the past 2-years.

The cargo net idea looks good to me I am trying to figure out how to store the Flatform. There is not many options I can see for storing this kick boat other then hanging it in the garage. I will look into this GT thanks.
