Huntington Harbor Report

1/20/18  GT was good enough to come out and do some fishing and testing of the new Seven Bass Kick Boats.  Lets talk about the fishing.  Started out with a 6:30 launch time incoming tide peaking at 10:30.  We were concerned about the cold weather, never say the wind coming.  The wind made the day tough but we braved it.  We fished Hookup Baits for the day and the morning proved to be all about hiding from the wind.  At the start of the outgoing tide, we started to locate and land some fish.  
The final count for me was 5 with at least 3 missed on the hook set.  It was a good day you know as they say a bad day fishing is better than a good day.

5 fish on the day is good day anytime.

I am looking forward to more info on the tubes.

Ya the wind blew really good...........launched at Seabridge and let the wind push us up the side channel to the bridge and the park. We beached the floats and waited for the outgoing tide. On the way back I finally started with the Anchovy Hookup, 4 spotties and a small Hali. To of the spotties looked to be better than 10", but did not have a apron tape to measure....fill u in later. Most of my fish were caught middle channel at the bend in the canal. It was cold but we managed a few fish........not a bad morning..........GT
