A solo session in LAB today


Gray light: 0450 hrs
Miles Kicked On FT: 1.99 miles
Calories Burnt: Approx 705 if we had been walking so I'm going to guess approx 900+ calories burnt today.
Swell: SW/SSW
Air Temp: 64 deg to 70 deg, cloudy cool sky's w/ a marine layer that didn't begin to burn off until 1000 hrs.
Water Temp: 68 deg to 70 deg
Session Duration: 0500 hrs until 1000 hrs (5 hrs).
Sun Rise: 0546 Hrs, Sun Set: 2007 hrs. The days are beginning to get a bit shorter now.
Wind: 0600 hrs over cast 2-mph SSW, 1200 hrs 7-mph SW.
CE: 58 in the morning, average
Bait Presence: massive amounts of bait and bait balls in the water everywhere.
Sea Dog Presence: none to report
Sea Bird Presence: just a few diving birds
Dolphin Presence: none to report.
Surf: 1-2 ft to 1ft, Swell: 1.1 ft, Sec's Between Sets: 14
Tidal Conditions: 0500 hrs 1.6 ft, 0600 hrs 0.8 ft, 0700 hrs 0.4 ft, 0742 LT 0.2 ft, 0900 hrs 0.7 ft, 1000 hrs 1.3
Isolunar: Major period ended at 0624 hrs, Minor period from 0951 hrs until 1121 hrs.  <"))>< <"))>< <"))><
Bait used: 1/4oz Sardine Green Silver, 1/4oz Mint and 3/8oz Glow Green Silver colored HUB's with Bio-Edge scent along with Hot Sauce.

Equipment used:

1. My (3) three stix used for LAB were the B"n"M SharpShooter, my finesse stix, rated 4#-8#
2. For fishing in LAB today, I used Diawa Samurai #20 braided line w/ a 5 ft long 12 lb Seaguar InvizX Fluorocarbon leader on all (3) three of my Shimano Stradic Ci4 2500 reels.

SP Dan's Fish Count: 28 fish total, 5-different species, 2 legals on the "SS Stitch":

(1) Scuplin, 9 1/4"

(22) Spotty's, the best were a 14", 14 3/4" legals

I only post one of each species unless there are multi legals, PB's or NS (new species).
PS ... I am purely a 100% CPR sportsman ... I only capture, photograph/measure and release as quickly as possible!
