Jeff, this winter has been unusual as far as still having ice this time of year. I am confident the ice will be gone for the most part on our local lakes, although the water temps will be on the low side.

I plan on checking out some farm ponds on the 30th if need be.

I will captain the freshwater team. That will get me more active on this Float Tube forum!

and I'm really liking the "SMACK!" that Lightfoot is throwing down at the salt water guys! lol

So we have a Captain for Freshwater that is fish Stalker, we are still looking for a Captain for the Saltwater killers. Any takers, there is still room to join and plenty of time to start getting involved. All are welcome newbie's and veterans alike this is a fun event for all.

The Salt Water predictions for Saturday March 30,

CE: 43
Moon Phase: Waning Crescent (the last 1/4 moon phase)
iSolunar: Major Period 7:30 AM until 10:10 AM, Minor Period 1:31 PM until 3:01 PM
Sunrise: 6:43 AM
The good thing is that the days are getting longer and hopefully warmer!


Tidal Movement: 1st HT at 6:32 AM and the next LT will be at 1:37 PM.


Tough conditions indeed, and you'll need to bring all your fishing skills out on this particular day.

Well well well. Looks like the salt has their hot shots lined up. It's ok, the freshies will ice them down a bit. I'm not involved...yet, but stirring the pot a little to up the excitement. I need to support my team even though I fish salt waaaaay more.
