So I am getting ready to teach knot tying to our Fishing Club at school and came across a few I wanted to share here.  The double clinch not improved and the double uni knot.

My question who has tried these and I am looking to try the Double Uni Knot for Braid to Mono. Has anyone had experience with the Uni knot did it work or not?

Speaking to using braided line.
As far as line to line knots go I have never used the Double Uni on braid. I have used it on mono to mono, and mono to fluoro with great results.

Royal Polaris knot is fairly simple and works great for braid to mono or fluoro.

I have done the uni to uni on light braid to light fluoro or mono. It seems to hold up. I use the Alberto, royal polaris or FG knot (i believe these are all the same knot) on anything more than 10 pound line.

The bottom knot looks like the san diego jam knot but doubled up. I like the san diego jam knot or the palomar knot when tying direct to the hook or lure.

The San Diego Jam Knot yep just like the Improved Clinch Knot and what I posted is just doubled.

I use the Albright on my larger test lines, braid to Flurocarbon. Didn't work to well on smaller diameter braids for me............GT

Ok so I have been working on the Uni knot and this I think will be my new knot of choice.  Simple and easy to tie and I think I have it mastered.

That looks really great Jeff.
You can test it out on the famous waters of Lake Perris this Sunday. Is it going to drag that Double Digit Bass out of the trees? Very Happy Very Happy
