Johnny, Jordan and myself met up and we fished hard from 0830 hrs. until 13:00 hrs.

Here I am holding my short lil’ 18 1/2” Hali.

I ended up with:
(2) short Halibut, an 18 1/2” and my best short at 21 1/2”

(3) short Spotty’s, best 11”

Jordan and I landed 3 each, a mix short spotties and sandies. Jordan lost a nice halibut at the boat and ended the day with nine mullets bit in half. I also had a few near catches with only one tail bitten off. You never want to outfish they guy that invited you as they may not call and wake you up next time.

I was heading toward Newport Harbor to join you when I called you at 7:00 AM to tell you that I’d be arriving there late, but you had slept in, so we agreed to meet up at LAB.

You guys really amazed me on how fast you actually made it to today’s launch site! FLASHHHHHHHH!!

Any time on the wake up! Ha ha ha!
