I have one that I finally took out this weekend. So far so good. I think the net is weird and its taking some getting use too. I think id rather have a tray but at this time its very comfortable. It moves well in the water. It does seem to collect some water under the seat so when you take it out of the water to put in the truck a bunch of water rushes out. The other thing i see is there is no way to situate a wrap around style rod holder or equipment farther than the front of the seat. there is no opening where the seat is to allow it but with the webbing on top helps to keep it from sliding off. Looking forward to more time on the water with it.

Ya you can only put a rod holder on the front. But back in the day guys use to take a hanger (old metal hanger) bend it to width of your webbing. They heat it up and burn through the PVC floors. Clean cut that allowed to to run your webbing through. I never did it but if you do I say take your bladders out before you try it. Just a suggestion it worked for other people.

I wanted to give an update as I have had few more outings in my new float tube.

Pros:
-The webbing on top allow for lots of configuration options and mounting accessories.
-The seat is comfortable. I fish 7 hours or so at a time and do not feel sore.
-Sit high up in the seat. My butt gets wet from water coming in from the back it seems at times.
-The 3 boxes that come with the float tube are more than enough storage for the day.
Cons:
-The front skirt is black. If you are in the heat and this thing doesn't float above your lap you will be extremely hot in this thing. I have tried to tighten this up every way so it doesn't lay in my lap but it simply just lays on my lap. I hope someone comes up with a tray mod.
-All the boxes are black. if you have anything that needs to stay cool or can melt DON'T PUT THEM IN THE BOXES! These boxes get extremely hot in the sun. It was about 85 F the day I went out and my bait went south super fast. so did my lunch.
-Behind the seat on the floor there is a small hole which collects a bunch of water. if you put anything back there it will eventually be floating around in that water.

This is all I have experienced in the last 4-5 outings in the tube. I would like to hear anyone elses opinion but so far a very solid tube and I am very happy with my purchase!

I built a tray for my daughter’s FLTB 5. Just a wood slat that tucks under the loops on the top of the tube simple and crude for now but seems to be working. Slips in on one side and velcros trough a loop on the other side. I left it short so she can slide it out and make a quick escape if ever there was an emergency need. Also mounted her fish finder to the tray itself. Little FIshHawk fish finder uses GoPro mounts so easy to configure anything you want. Transducer hangs off the side with the strap in the kit.
She bought the triangle shaped storage box for behind the seat and works great as an ice chest on hot day but I agree all the black does get pretty damn hot in the sun. She loves it overall and is enjoying the comfort of it.

Excellent job on the DYI’s and thank you for sharing your work with us in photos.
This should definitely help the next guy out a lot!

Thank you again,
