Clear water fishing???

It was posted the needs to fish clear water differently. We have all fished these conditions at some point. Clear water fishing can be a big challenge, so what do tips or tricks to increase your catch ratio in clear water's.
I know you need to down size you line and uses some more natural color baits. But I know there is more to it then this post up your ideas, what works best for you.

Thanks Jeffcpr...also softer presentation, smaller baits, overcasting target, consider yourself relative to the sun on casts and fishing when cloud cover is present.

Some of it depends on time of year but fast moving bait can trigger the reflex better given less analysis time by the fish.

Overall, natural as hell works best with the least spook. It's not a wholesale casting event. Interesting what others have to say, my perspective is LM and SM bass. Pike hit anything any time.

I remember years ago fishing a high pressure city park with very clear water having to hide behind a tree. The sun was bright and the fish were shallow and very visible so I had to hide my silhouette with the trees and it worked very well.
