Cabrillo harbor 2021/04/05

I know there haven't been many reports lately so I'll throw one up here. Not good fishing by any means but it was a beautiful day and anytime in the water is always a great day! I got one 12-14" halibut on a 3" plastic Zman. In the water from about 11-2pm and the wind was enough to be constantly keeping me kicking. 1 fish but it hit like a ton of bricks and was a fun fight. Tight lines to y'all and I think good fishing is coming soon when the water warms up.

One day of fishing is better than ........... a lot of things. WTG on get out and finding one.

Way to go Dave-O!  

I started to work-my-way-down there but when I arrived ... the winds were blowing at 10-11 mph and that had discouraged me.

Thank you Dan. Yes, the wind started picking up stronger and stronger. It got very tough to fish right after you showed up. I have a video of the halibut but it's so small I didn't bother posting anything
