GT and myself did a salt water RECON session today. We kicked where neither of us has kicked before.
AO: Cabrillo Beach, San Pedro
Gray light: 0510 hrs
Session Duration: 0630 hrs until 1300 hrs (6.5 hrs).
Sun Rise: 0603 Hrs, Sun Set: 1955 hrs. The days are definitely getting shorter by 1-2 minutes every day.
Wind: 0600 hrs 2-mph SSW, 1200 hrs 10-mph SSW.
Water Temp: 68 deg to 71 deg
Air Temp: 69 deg to 72 deg
Distance Kicked: 2,18 miles
Calories Burnt: 713 calories if I had been walking, so I'm guessing approx 900 calories burnt today.
CE: 77 in the morning, a high average
Bait Presence: massive amounts of bait and bait balls in the water everywhere.
Sea Dog Presence: none
Sea Bird Presence: just a few diving birds
Dolphin Presence: none to report.
Surf: 1-2 ft, Swell: 0.9 ft, Sec's Between Sets: 9
Tidal Conditions: 0600 hrs -0.3 ft, 0700 hrs 10.4 ft, 0900 hrs 2.5 ft, 1000 3.4 ft, 1100 hrs 3.9 ft, 1154 HT hrs 4.5 ft, 1300 hrs 3.8 ft.

Bait used: 1/4oz & 3/8oz Sardine Green Silver, 1/4oz & 3/8oz Mint, 3/8oz Glow Green Sardine colored HUB's with Bio-Edge scent along with Hot Sauce.
