Statistics on float tubes in the USA?

Just got to wondering this evening about float tubes in the US.

Does anyone have any sense of how many float tubes are sold in the USA or any particular state such as California or Florida?  Or perhaps some major vendors such as Amazon or Walmart?

Got to wondering.

And how about the percentage of hybrid vs the dual-layer with bladder style?

Of the top bladder style, my assumption is that the Outcast brand is dominant?  (Though I think that the Cumberland model by Classic Accessories is probably top tube for the $ - just top tube.)

Of the hybrid style, which are the best or top US companies?

I figure if ANYWHERE one may know, it is on this site.  

I have looked into this and tried to come up with numbers. I even tried to call local companies for this info and they were unwilling to help. I am not even sure how to find this information, but maybe we should try again and see if some where we can locate some info on this.

I honestly do not think its really widespread yet. I think in Florida you cannot float tube as much due to the gators. Just going off buddies I have that live there. I know you probably can in some waters. I believe its not as wide spread because I still get a lot of questions about my tube on my outings. People never have seen them as much I guess. And they have a lot of questions lol

I know of (3) three Cumberlands here in San Pedro if anyone is starting to count! Ha ha ha

Well In that case about 3 here by Lake Perris hahaha we just lost one due to him moving to Idaho
