New to the sport tired of waiting for them ! Time to go and find them !

Hi I just found this new sport out by returning back to my old fishing spot in Alamitos bay. Fishing from the rocks was getting me nothing and not to mention the black with white line cats. Time to try something new, I got a fat cat 4lcs and need some help setting thing up. Im not a big on plastic but love to fish for big fish that love 1/4 size of Mack. I live with several Asia people that love to eat all the fish i cath. If they are limit size. But i would really like to tap into a better way of fishing.

Welcome and we do fish the LAB alot and the reason why you did catch is the red tide is strong right now i got skunked last saturday but i be trying again soon

Welcome to the fourm and welcome to the wide world of float tubing. If you are like the rest of us you are going to be hooked to float tubing the first time out.

welcome to the site. I x2 that with what ed said. Just IMO, I would not keep any fish that comes out the bay and I also highly recommend C&R on all spotties. Get a legal size sandie or hali then by all means kept it if you wish.

I'm fairly new to both fishing and tubing and have only been out a few times, but each time is not only a lot more fun, but I feel I have a lot better chance at actually catching fish in a tube because the amount of area I can cover. I hated the sit and wait style shore fishing so this is a huge plus.
