The Pudd! Is Puddingstone the toughest body of water in SoCal?

On my last post I stated that I was heading over to Puddingstone for a change. Well today on my 3rd outing I finally landed a bass. It must have been an ego thing that kept me heading back. I can’t be that bad, can I? Well I saw a bunch of bass patrolling at different depths. And few fatties on beds guarding fry. None of which wanted anything to do with what I was throwing. Senkos, chatterbaits, cranks, keitecs. The one I landed came on a drop shot in less than 3ft of water. Used a new color Roboworm, Aron’s Magic. Pure luck. 16” and just over 2lbs. I will be heading back next week. Wish me luck. I’m going to need it.

Good job that is where I use to float tube a lot. And yes you are right it's tough, but once you dial it in you are good to go. I would be lost once again if I was to head back but maybe someday.

I have never been to putting Stone but I have heard a lot of wonderful fishing stories from there.
