Did a short session in Huntington harbor this morning. Put in at Humboldt beach at 7 and had a nice spottie by 730. Had a couple of nice bites after that but couldn’t hook up. One even short bit the JBros creature bait right in half. Then the wind came up. Crazy trying to go upwind and upcurrent. Landed one small halibut right before I quit and saw a bunch of swimming stingrays. [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

Hitting Alamitos Bay next Saturday morning. I like the incoming tide to float past the Ballast Point area by the dive boats. Open invite to join us.

Something was hungry down there under the waves. Short bite can be so frustrating but hey the Spottie and Hali came out to play. Just talking about the wind it has been crazy around here hope it stops soon.
