Salt Water Poker Gathering at the LAB Nov.6

Any decision on food? I know someone mentioned maybe doing a pot luck, but not sure if we are bringing stuff or just hitting up a spot afterward?

not sure if i can stay to eat but if i can there are a lot of places to eat at and not worry about clean out and haul alot for food to the sandy beach unles there apark close but still sounds like work to me

There is a In & Out burger down the street, we can all eat there. It's cheap, less stuff to bring. Just a suggestion.

I would say meet up and all eat unless we got a grill guy because if we were to do the pot luck any warm food will be cold by the time we get out of the water and we dont have a way to warm it pastas and tater salads would be they way to go if we all choose pot luck

Well I would totally rather grill and chill instead of piling into a burger spot, wait in line, etc (plus I recall the waitress give us an odd comment about the "smell" after the MDR meet), but that's just me.

If we are only grilling burgers and dogs it shouldn't be a problem I'll even bring a small grill. Then someone brings buns, a few can bring cold sides in a cooler, chips, sodas and we are done.

Not sure about the parks in the area, but I did see a few not far from the launch point.

Well thats cool i can not eat anyway i found out that i was a diabetic a few weeks ago and so you can count out but i will bring water i can drink water lol and if i can stay i will bring something that i can eat lol plus i have to eat with my meds anyway so i will be taken a break at 8 am and my meds woowwwwwooowww

I will pack a lunch to eat time for me to think about my health also

Stomach Ulcer for the win! I'll be eating out somewhere stomach friendly or bringing my own food aswell.

All I remember from eating at Constructa Burger in MDR was the "we are not small" comment floating around... oh yeah and the girl with the nice behind sitting at the bar =).

It's Los alamitos bay long beach. While on 2nd st. Your going to make a left on bay shore, take bay shore to Ocean blvd. Make a left there It's 100 yards to the left, next to the first boat slips. I'll post a google map or if any one can post it would be great, can't do it from my phone. I'm off to 2 soccer games and daughters school band practice.
