Another fun evening session. Got a couple and a handful of short bites, one kept toying with me for too long!

Ya buddy I like that you are working just one bait, build that confidence for sure. thanks for braving the wind on shore and posting some fish porn for us all to enjoy. Keep up the great work.

It's pretty annoying when all you get are those exploratory/investigative pecks. Ever try the slow drag to get them going when that happens? Seems to work for me.

Very annoying to say the least! I did try the slow drag, then slow drag with a twitch, you name it, I tried it last night. Mad

Oh yah … the ol’ “cat n’ mouse” session.
Sometimes ya gotta do something a bit different to get them stubborn fish to commit.
And at times, reducing the size of your bait will get you that bite. 🎣

Just my name two cents and experience,
Best of luck out there to ya,

Thanks Dan, that Cat ‘n’ Mouse was the perfect analogy!

These TRD TubeZ are only 2.75”, not sure I could go much smaller, haha!

Let me introduce you to the world of throwing crappie baits...you'll get a lot of small fish, but those 8-10" class fish will give you a run for your money on ultra light gear hahah.
