Rod sling for my FJ Cruiser

So my FJ Cruiser is tight on space to be honest and I have been struggling to figure out how to store my rods.  Well I think I might have solved my problem.  I made some corded handholds and used them to create this sling system for my rods.  It should work out pretty good.  What do you think

It looks sharp.
Keeps the rods high and out of danger, how does it clear the passengers head?

Well more made for no passenger but it is out of the way for the most part if you don't mind the rod swing in to your head every once and a while

Brilliant idea and thank you for sharing it!
Slings really do stop the rod tips from going out the window, I have rolled the window up on them a few in the past! OUCH!! 😵‍💫

Pretty cool Jeff! I was thinking in doing something similar, but I want the rods in the middle,
How you like the FJ crouser??!!! I had my eye on those before I committed with the Xterra, but I was.told they have a big blind spot???? 🤔

You were told right about the blind spot and at night is worse. But I really enjoy it for the most part.
