Happy New Year to the FTFF Crew

So first I would like to say Happy New Year to the FTFF Crew. I hope everyone had a great 2023. And I pray for an even better 2024.

My goals and plans for 2024.
First goal weight loss (I know that is cliché) but I need to do this for me and my family.

Goal 2 catch on a Crankbait this year. This is our FTFF Challenge for the year. We have a few signed up for it. I will make a post all about it so if anyone else wants to join in on it with us.

Goal 3 Run some Gatherings. I know I have said this before and not come through. Well it's on and I am planning to to the first one in February (the 17th is Tentative) The gatherings are just us as a group getting together to fish for fun. Its a great way to connect with old friends and meet knew ones.

Goal 4 To fish freshwater more. To make this happen I will be setting a few gatherings at some local freshwater locations. The list currently will include .... Santa Fe Dam, Puddingstone, and Lake Perris.

Goal 5 is to continue to work on the Patreon and continue to cast that wider net.

I like all your goals Jeff and most mirror mine. Definitely looking forward to a better 2024 than 2023.  Had a rough year caring for my ailing mom.  She passed right before Christmas so that was tough but she was getting bad and struggling so taking some comfort she’s at peace. .  Once things settle I will have more free time.   Hoping to fish more for sure and have a couple camping trips already in the works.  I’m in on the crank bait challenge so need time on the water to accomplish that. Another goal for me is to fish more places.  I want to hit Mission Bay and LA Harbor (with JmyTuna) and try to maybe get in some fresh water trips.  Maybe Gregory for trout or Castaic (lower lagoon) for some spring bass.

So sorry about your Mom but as you say she is in peace now. Here is to 2024 and all the possibilities that we all have before us.
