For the past month or so the pattern, for me at least has been the bite on after 11:00am, but I need the exercise and get there early. Today, 1/13/2012, I got on the water a little later 8:00am. Water temp up to 54^ and 55^ later. worked the big cove but nothing but short strikes so headed to my my old spot. Not many boats on the water so I was able to work it like I like. From 11 to 12:30 got four but then the wind shifted from the n/w to the s/w and the bite died down for awhile. About 1:20 the bit turned on and all the boats were back on the fish. finally got my limit and headed back to the beach.
The fish didn't fight fight like a couple of weeks ago but still had a couple fighters. Orange and white TW's, shallow were the trick.
