I am not much for flyfishing but I am close to Pasadena maybe I will make it to the show, thanks

Does anyone want to go to the Pasadena show lets try and get a date set to go, Feb. 19th and 20th.

I'm game to go as well. I am not a fly fisherman by any means, but who knows! I have wanted to try fly fishing so just maybe... haha. Also, it looks like the companies will be there with float tubes and gear. I want a new tube and see some new gear. I'm going!

Do you want to meet up there? I have an appointment at 9am in LA so I should be there by 10.

I'll be going on sat too. I'm planning to leave La Puente at 10:30am so a should be at the show a little after 11am.


Hope there are some good deals going on tomorrow.

I need some sinking line, an extra spool and a fly tying kit for beginners.

I don't know what the heck I'm going to do at a fly fishing show haha! I am going to look at some float tubes and gear. Maybe pick up a fly outfit. Weather is terrible and been working all week. No fishing so ya haha. Maybe go and dump a bunch of cash on tackle I don't need at Basspro. LOL!

Ya I've been wanting like a 6wt since like high school. LOL. Maybe now is the time!

Well I went..... I failed to look at the small print I guess where it reads in the Fly Fishing Show website. Not All Vendors attend the shows. This show was strictly for Fly Fisherman. Outcast is on their list of vendors and DID not attend the Pasadena show. The show was in one Tent Type hall. Only a hand full of vendors. There was NO float tube accessories, or any float tubes there Period. You know how most fishing shows have different vendors like tools, beef jerky, etc? Well there was None at this show. $30.00 bucks to get in and $5 bucks for parking. If I was a hard core fly fisherman, this would have been okay. Since I am a total newbie, this show was not fun. I did cast a 6wt for a bit and I asked an instructor for some pointers and he said to me, I had no idea you don't fly fish! Your casts look like you've been doing it for some time! LOL! So I wanted to buy a 6wt and ya, like expensive! Anyways, theres my show wrap up for ya'll.

Ya you are right. It was cool to see some of the tackle and things. I am home not and the power here in my area has been out since 10:40pm yesterday. SCE site stated it would be back on as of 3:00pm today. I just checked and they don't even have crews working on this part of the outage yet! Wtfrick!?? I have a 4G wireless card and my lap top. Had to fire up the generator to run the fridge and my aquarium pumps. Sheesh. It's freee..eeeeeeezing in my house to.

thats not cool of SCE hope your power is back soon, did you run into any of the other guys out there.

I've never met any of the guys from here and don't know what they look like lol! They don't know what I look like either haha.
