My Daughter Killed them today

Had sometime to kill which never happens anymore, so I decided to make her day. We headed over to Laguna Lake in Fullerton. Armed with some worms and ultralights we caught 20+ gill in less that and hour and half.
My 8 year old can now unhook her own bluegill I have no pictures sorry as we were to busy hooking and unhooking all this big gills we were catching. OK they were tiny but we had a great time and the Gills are on the chew in the orange county parks

I'm not gonna lie....sometimes at the local pond I like to soak bait for catfish. When nobody is looking I catch bluegill on my UL rod......sooo much fun!

It's always good getting the kids on some fish. That's what gets them hooked for life. Good going Jeff

NICE! that lake used to have a nice crappie population as well, glad to hear its got a nice panfish population again.

seriously? hey PM or post up some pics. It's a bit early, but I'd love it if one of my daughters took to fishing someday. She'd love all that pink and purple girly stuff!

Ya my kids all fish rods I have built them. One has flames on then the other is all black and my daughter was marbled with and dark purple. It is fun for tnem so much more personnal.
