I plan on making it to the Perris gathering. This still going to be a live weigh in?

Big thanks to Miller and Jeff and OTS Baits for putting this event on!
Tagged along with Wax, Ed, sonarBP, Vagabond, and LeakyTube, and launched from J Street.
I started off with a quick dink, pretty much right after I launched. A whopper.. 0.52lbs!! It might have just barely scratched 13" so I had to take a pic.. just in case it was the only fish I caught for the day! [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
Luckily, I ended up with 3 more, that were the right kind, and a little beefier... but I was surprised that nobody else pulled in a huge fish, with the talented group of pros we had out there on the water! I also thought someone had mentioned already a 2.5lb fish. I must have been hearing things. Unfortunately, I had to (try to) leave early to get to church, so I missed the digital weigh-in. Didn't Brian (Vagabond) get biggest fish? I saw him pull out a nice halibut. Also, congrats to Mr. LeakyTube on the fine day. Didn't you also catch some kind of 'mystery fish' ??
Ok.. onto the porn..
Here are some spots..
on the 3/8oz yellow warhead + christmas swimbait

Special thanks to Mr. Wiseguy on the nice Green Universe custom rod... my early Father's Day present to myself. It got a good sea trial today, and I learned a lot watching the fellas (LTube, Ed, Vagabond, etc..). Casting better today with my curado 200e7 on the 6-6 Green Universe. Had relatively few birdsnests today, knock-on-wood! Was getting late.. I was starting to kick back towards my car, into the wind. I decided to troll 2 swimbaits, and the Green Universe on my right got hit hard on the way back! YAH BABY!!!!
This was my largest spottie today, at 1.41 lbs, caught on a halloween-type pattern on the same yellow 3/8oz warbait:
